Accessibility Statement
Our approach to making this website usable by everyone, what we have done, what we have tested, the known limitations, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our approach
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We design and test it against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, which also covers the requirements of Israeli Standard IS 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA) referred to in Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations, 5773-2013.
This statement describes our own work and testing. It is not a certification, and the site has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility expert.
What we have done
Measures in place on this site include:
- Keyboard access to all links, buttons and form fields, a visible focus indicator on light and dark backgrounds, and a “Skip the story” link at the top of the home page.
- The same navigation on every screen size. On phones it opens from a menu button, closes with the Escape key and closes after you choose a link.
- Motion you control: the opening story has Pause, Continue and Replay buttons; the architecture diagram, the example decisions and the scenario tour each have their own Pause button; the site follows your device’s reduce-motion setting; and the accessibility menu can pause all animations.
- An accessibility menu in the site header with four settings (pause animations, larger text, higher contrast and underlined links) and Reset. It is built into the site, is not a third-party overlay, and saves your choices only in your browser.
- Text equivalents: the animated story, the diagrams and the world map have text descriptions, the page text carries the full meaning without the animation, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Semantic headings and landmarks, labeled form fields, and form errors that are shown next to each field, announced to screen readers and move focus to the first error.
- Text and controls designed for WCAG AA contrast, layouts that adapt to small screens and zoom without horizontal scrolling, touch targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels, and no flashing content.
How we tested
On October 13, 2026 we checked the home page and these legal pages with automated testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules, and Lighthouse) at widths from 360 to 1440 pixels, including with reduced motion, and with no violations reported. We also checked keyboard navigation, focus order and visibility, form validation messages, reduced-motion behavior and layout at phone, tablet and desktop widths in a desktop browser with device emulation.
Automated tools find only some accessibility issues, so these results do not establish full conformance.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following:
- The site has not yet been tested with screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver or TalkBack) or on physical phones and tablets. We plan to do this before launch.
- The opening animation and the diagrams may be hard to follow for some users. Their content is always available as text on the page, and every animation can be paused.
- Some illustrations and example events are simplified and labeled as illustrative.
